We very guilty like abandoned Merlin at home for another day, and Sharweeny and the Wookster stole away into the sunshine to greet the final days of snow.
Clearly, when one is a Wookster, posing and postering in front of large old trees is a devine way to grab everyone’s attention. Given that Mr. Wookster is still harbouring too much Winter insulation, this exercise will help him back into fine shape for Spring flower season.

Now of course the Wookster COULD take lead from Ms Sharweeny and get into some serious squirrel chasing like she does. It’s over hill and dale for sharweeny-girl as she continues to be determined to get that very elusive squirrel that keeps following her everywhere.
It was really wonderful to take in all this wonderful vitamin D. Even though we were out there really early, we had to share wilderness hiking space some early morning enthusiasts who had the same idea we did. Drats!!! Have to get here even earlier I guess.

We even witnessed some “younger” humans. Now that shows gusto! Or is it because those tiny babies wake them up early? Ya think?

Now, the trick will be to sneak back home and tiptoe in so Merlin doesn’t realize we’re back. I know we’ll get an “earful” from him for leaving him home… but alas, his foot has ulcered again this week so he needs to stay off of it so that it can heal. Once it heals he can go out there again with us. Soon dear Merlin.. soon!

hope your foot is better soon Merlin!
Wookie is looking great, what a handsome boy. SharShar is adorable is always. So sorry Merlin’s foot is hurting, hope it heals up soon.
Oooh Merlin, what a story again…. and poor you with your hurting foot.
