Look who walked in? Miss I-Love-A-Party!!!
Ok..come on… ask me why it’s 4:30 am and I’m busy blogging? I dare you.. just ask?
Yep…. Miss I-Love-A-Party got the zoomies at 4:00 am! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Juliet…! I need my sleep!
One thing is for sure. I miss the delightful liveliness of a Chinese Shar-Pei in The Thimble. We’re having so much fun pei-ing and pei-ing with Juliet. Last night I went to pick Juliet up from her foster home, where she sejoured with a 10-year old chow girl. The two of them got on famously.

Although Merlin and Wookie were not too impressed with Juliet’s antic’s ( those boring chows…. ). Juliet will be going to her new home on the 26th, so we get to enjoy her company for Christmas which is wonderful because on Christmas Day, I’m alone at home with all the chowdren. My family is only arriving on the 26th, so I can spend my day giving out my mulled wine and ginger cookies together with everyone including Ms. Juliet.
The weatherman is calling for mild weather on Christmas Day, so rest assured we will all be out there in the elements, all gussied up for the special occasion! Wookie’s been practicing with the Winter sleigh, so he might just get to put in his cameo debut tomorrow. We’ll see.
Juliet is in great shape, not too fat, not too thin and loaded with good spirits. She’s been gone for at least a month, but walked in here and INSTANTLY remembered the layout of the land and navigated The Thimble flawlessly. Bravo Juliet. She’s a really smart girl. I said that from the moment I laid eyes on her anyways.
In actual fact, the chowdren were happy to see her and welcomed her presence…. well… .all except the Shar-weeny, who’s decided to take this very personally. What a jealous little shar-weeny she is. Naughty Munchkin… you shouldn’t be that way.
We’re excited for Juliet. The fosterer had nothing but great things to say about this girl. She almosttttt became a foster flunkie because of Juliet and remarked that she thoroughly enjoyed her blind dog experience, and didn’t know that blind dogs could be so darn capable.
As I’m writing this, Juliet ran outside to go check on a “noise”. The chicken chow….. Mr. Wookster, is busy hiding under the desk…. good thing Juliet is here to save us Wookie you big chicken! At least Merlin wears a pair of pants. The two blind dogs are out there…. protecting us…. ( what’s wrong with this story) ?
have a GREAT CHRISTMAS EVE EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am her new Mommy and We can’t wait for her to come home with us. Emily my 12 year old Shar pei is also blind and I am sure they will get along just fine. Blind dogs are great and mobile and I would say to everyone don’t let that stop you from Adopting them. Shar peis are like Pringles … You can’t just have one…
Merry Christmas and Happy new year to all.
You know, there are a lot of people who’d like to steal that little girl away from you.
She’s so loveable, squishable and huggable it’s not funny. You’ll see!

Awww what a cutie she is so glad to see she’s still having a party.
I’m so happy you have found a great forever home for her…cant wait to see more pixs and hear more updates once she gets to her new home.
Have a wonderful life Juliet.
OMG Love the shot of Wooster trying to escape !! Like he will fit through that doggie door??
oh yes, that svelt little Wookie still fits in through that door.
I am just chuckling at how Sharweeny was not impressed having Juliet back for even a little while. She is now on her way to her new home so you can stop crying now Sharweeny!! Love the caption with Merlin shocked that the party girl is back again (lol).
Well Juliette was great in the car on the way to her new home. She has been her just over 24 hours and is already protecting it from door knocks and sounds. It’s windy here now. I took her to play with a 6 month old mastiff and saw her antics jumping up and around as she does in the video. Oh and she doesn’t like to see a door shut LOL I left one partially open and she was exploring everywhere already. One cat loves her already the older one not so much. She has been in hiding since I brought her home.
I will send some pics soon.
Well you were not kidding calling her Party Girl LOL.
She is so happy to see me when I come home she is jumping up and running around, she loves the snow and pretends not to hear me when I call her to come in. My Mother comes by in the afternoon and lets her out and says she never stops. But once I am home for a while she settles right down. She loves to run up and down the stairs and the only problem is she will try to eat anything if left alone so I have had to crate her during the day. She has escaped a few times. I must have my mother check the locks LOL
thanks again for letting me adopt her. She is quite the character.
